About NeuroAmbedkarism

Where modern neuroscience meets the revolutionary philosophy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar to create a roadmap for cognitive liberation and social equity.

What is it?

NeuroAmbedkarism is the study of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s life and philosophy with neuroscience at its core. This interdisciplinary field uses the structure of the brain—its functions, plasticity, emotions, and decision-making capabilities—to scientifically analyze the struggles and strategies of Dr. Ambedkar.

By centering neuroscience and using Ambedkar’s life as a case study, we develop tools for cognitive liberation and social equity.

Key Objectives

Develop brain understanding through neuroscience.

Analyze Ambedkar's cognitive strategies (PFC, Limbic system, Amygdala).

Teach mindfulness, emotional control, and ethical decision-making.

Practical application for social equality and revolution.

From Theory to Practice

NeuroAmbedkarism is not just an academic pursuit; it is a movement for real-world change. The Leela Charitable Trust serves as the implementing partner of our research.

Cognitive Resilience

NeuroAmbedkarism focuses on how individuals from marginalized communities can utilize ‘Neuroplasticity’ to overcome generational trauma and systemic conditioning, effectively ‘re-mapping’ their neural pathways towards empowerment, just as Ambedkar did during his relentless pursuit of knowledge.
